Well, what can possibly happen next this year I asked! I asked too soon.
I had a car accident yesterday. Rear end shunted by another driver. I have whiplash, mother in law was in car with me and ended up on a spinal board and the other driver had chest pains. 3 ambulances, 2 police cars.... I don't do things by halves!
Anyway, all we have is soreness and stiffness and a good dose of shock. Thankfully, no one has anything worse, could have been much much worse.
Motability have been wonderful, so helpful, so that helps.
Flippin heck, roll on 2010!

Oh, what a nasty experience Jan. I`m thankful that things were no worse, though whiplash is not very pleasant. Hope you soon feel better, you are bound to feel shaken up.

Take care,

Kathleen x

Dear Jan - what a horrid experience for you. Although you are feeling reasonable, it will take a while for the shock and bruises to come out! Be VERY kind to yourslef over the weekend. Lots of wine and choccy, I think. Relieved no-one was seriously hurt.
Lots of love

Dear Jan,

This must have given you such a terrific shock! Don't be surprised if you don't feel so good for a couple of days and do allow yourself time to recover from the shock. Glad that the injuries are not so severe. Take care,

Thanks all.
Motability insurance have been brilliant. The rear end of my Meriva is caved in, but at least I will get a replacement whilst mine is being fixed.
Taking things very quietly for a few days, mother in law is fine thank goodness. We were just returning from the hospital, where we presented a cheque to the coranary care unit in memory of my father in law. A very emotional day!
thank you for your kind wishes,
Jan x
